I have already previously seen this movie in my english class last year just to let you know so you dont think i am just making this whole thing up. I definitely am glad i watched it after reading the book because it helped me to understand what was really going on and what her true feelings really were. In the movie you could actually see her real facial expressions, not just straight or curved line. You could really see how scared or upset she was. The movie made it a lot clearer what was going on most of the time and so it helped me to understand her whole situation.

At first i was not really into this novel, but after a little while of reading it it got me really hooked. I do get a little confused because in some of the pictures a lot of the people look exactly alike and i can not tell who is who, but i guess that is not too important.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was really interesting to learn more about the holocaust and to learn what my relatives (like the ones i never met) had to go through. I liked how even though all the characters were animals, it was still SO realistic.

I am really enjoying reading this book. I actually read the whole first book and chapters one and two of the second one all today and i really did not want to put it down. I think the drawings are really amazing and i think the fact that he used cats and rats or mice or watever was really a good idea because it really shows how the jews felt during that time. So i really enjoy this book and the transitions are good. :D

I REALLY got hooked to this book. I wanted to read it all in one sitting, but i did not really have time. Like Fun Home, the pictures in this novel also make the story seem a bit gloomy. I liked how a lot of the drawing looked very abstract and weird. I did not really know what was going on in them, but they showed me how Craig was feeling at the time. I was pretty surprised by some of the events that happened in the story. For example, the babysitter who like molested them, their father being so mean and abusive towards them, and the way that craig was treated by his classmates. I did not expect him to be picked on as much as he did. But anyways, i really liked this story and i would probably definitely read it again!
I really enjoyed the beginning of Fun Home. It hooked me right at the beginning and really made me want to read the rest...which is a good thing because most school books i kind of just want to stop right after the first night of reading. I really like the graphics of the novel, it made the story seem very realistic, and a little gloomy. (i know that it was real).

Well...i do not really enjoy reading this book and it is really hard for me to like...read more then one page without stopping and doing something else in between. I feel like i will never need to know any of this stuff when i am reading a graphic novel. I have already read Persepolis and i understood it perfectly and kind of enjoyed it...and i never learned like the background or how to understand a comic. But um...i do not know, i can not really read this that well so...yea...maybe i will try again later though...it could also be that i am starting to read it at 10:15...and i am a bit tired, but i really think if i even tried to read it like during the day, i just would not be able to!
